XIX Solar Sphinx. Memoirs of Vamp Iris Atma Ra: Woman & Romance is an autobiography of Ra'al Ki Victorieux, published in 2019 by Atma Unum. The title of the book refers to Iris Atma, one ofthe author's alter egos.[1] It is a work that belongs to the period of contemporary writers ( 20th and 21st centuries ) in Mexican Literature. The author explores the topic of emotional, psychological, and sexual violence against women, as well as healing alternatives.

It is a contemporary chronicle with an omniscient narrator, set mainly in Mexico City. The so-called Kundalini Manifesto stands out, in the voice of the author this proposal is born: "Because I also talk about a sexual education that does not censor (...) We are in a country where we have the first place of child rape, so it would be very important to promote this idea of healing and socializing, of losing the fear of talking about the subject."[2]

Ra'al Ki Victorieux received support from the National Fund for Culture and the Arts, FONCA in the area of ​​painting, in 2000.[3]  She was also awarded the scholarship to support research in heritage, by the Fund State for Culture and Arts of Chiapas, Foesca, in 1998.

Autobiographical book[edit]

The autobiographical speech of XIX. Solar Sphinx, advances with irony and humor through the disastrous, dramatic and horrendous. The story addresses sexual violence against women, with the aim of sharing tools for psychological healing, such as meditations.[4]

Structure[edit]

The story is divided into 11 chapters, in which we know scenes of the protagonist, 'Vamp Iris Atma Ra', who has other personalities, which are 'Vav', 'Mav', and 'Venus Victoria'. An omniscient narrator guides us through cultural press articles, poems, and guided meditations, thematically related to the central story. The work provides tools to close painful cycles, through recapitulation, and the practice of mourning.[5]
