Alikhan (Kurdish: ئالیخان, romanized: Alîxan) is a village in the sub-district of Kani Masi in Dohuk Governorate in Kurdistan Region, Iraq. It is located north of Amedi[1][2] near the southeastern Turkey border.[3] The Village is inhabited by Kurds of the Deshtani (Deştan) Clan,[4] and was formerly also home to a number of Assyrians prior to their relocation to Shmaila in the 20th century.[5][6]
