Seduce is an American heavy metal band formed in Detroit, Michigan in 1980.

Seduce is best known for their appearance in Penelope Spheeris’ cult music documentary film The Decline of Western Civilization Part II: The Metal Years.[1]

History[edit]

The band was formed in 1980 when Andrews and Black, initially playing in a band called Sparks, met Burns through mutual friends.[2] The band released their self-titled debut in 1985 and released their second album, Too Much, Ain't Enough, in 1988.[1][3]

Musical style and influences[edit]

Some of the bands that Seduce was influenced by include Motörhead, Van Halen, Alice Cooper, Discharge, the New York Dolls, the Sweet, and Led Zeppelin.[1][2]
