A Chinese Torture Chamber Story is a 1994 Hong Kong erotic (Category III) black comedy film produced by Wong Jing and directed by Bosco Lam.

Plot[edit]

The tragic death of butcher Ge Xiaoda made his wife Xiaobaicai the most suspicious suspect. She was reported to have an improper relationship with Yang Naiwu (played by Wu Qihua). The death of Ge Xiaoda was a conspiracy between the two. Governor Liu Xitong (played by Lu Xiong) took over this complicated case.

On a dark and windy night, a neighbor broke into the house of butcher Ge Xiaoda and found Ge Xiaoda, who was covered in blood and unconscious, lying dead at the scene.

Xiaobaicai was brought to trial by Governor Liu Xitong and was accused of adultery with Juren Yang Naiwu and conspiring to harm her husband. Yang Naiwu argued sternly and refused to plead guilty. Due to his status as a Juren, Governor Liu could not use torture and had to imprison him. So under the torture of Governor Liu, Xiaobaicai told the whole story of her acquaintance with Yang Naiwu.

It turns out that when Yang Naiwu was collecting rent from his tenants, he fell in love with Xiao Baicai, the daughter of the landlord, so he asked the landlord to let Xiao Baicai come to the mansion to help the housekeeper to pay the rent and prepare for taking a concubine in the future. Xiao Baicai also had feelings for Yang Naiwu, so she agreed.

Xiao Baicai and Yang Naiwu fell in love at the mansion, but due to the master-servant relationship and Yang's wife, they did not dare to cross the line. One day, Xiao Baicai's parents died tragically, and Yang comforted them in every way. Although the two had physical contact, they were put aside because Xiao Baicai was in mourning. Xiao Baicai vowed to marry Yang Naiwu as soon as the mourning period was over.

Unexpectedly, Xiao Baicai caught Yang's wife and Liu Haisheng, the son of Governor Liu, having an affair when Yang Naiwu was out. Yang's wife was afraid that the news would leak out, so she married Xiao Baicai to Ge Xiaoda, a notorious butcher in the county. Xiao Baicai tried to escape but was caught and tied up and forced to marry.
