Badvillain (Korean: 배드빌런; RR: Baedeubilleon; stylized in all caps) is a South Korean girl group formed by BPM Entertainment. The group consists of seven members: Emma, Chloe Young, HU'E, INA, Yunseo, Vin and Kelly. They made their debut on June 3, 2024, with their single album Overstep.

History[edit]

2021–2024: Pre-debut and formation[edit]

Some members have previously been involved in the entertainment industry prior to joining the group. HU'E and Yunseo were contestants on the MBC survival show My Teenage Girl.^[1] Also, Emma was known for participating in Street Woman Fighter.^[2]

2024: Debut with Overstep[edit]

In May 2024, BPM began sharing teasers for its upcoming girl group Badvillain, debuting in the first half of 2024.^[2] On June 3, the group made their debut with the release of single album Overstep with the lead single "Badvillain".^[3]
