Ivy Calvin (born September 10, 1971) is an American former professional football fullback and linebacker who played for the San Jose SaberCats of the Arena Football League in 1995. He is best known for being on Storage Wars since 2012.

Early life[edit]

Calvin was born in Ridgecrest, California, and started playing American football at the age of 6. Calvin attended Burroughs High School, where he played both in football and wrestling.[1]

College career[edit]

Calvin played for the Bakersfield Renegades in 1990 and 1991. He transferred to Cal State-Northridge Matadors where he played in 1992 and 1993.[2]

Professional career[edit]

Calvin went undrafted in 1994 and was signed with the San Jose SaberCats of the Arena Football League on April 14, 1995. Calvin played with the SaberCats for seven games and racking up 75 rushing yards and a rushing touchdown, along with 33 receiving yards and no touchdowns and 4 tackles.[3] Calvin was released by the SaberCats on July 5, 1995.[1]

After football[edit]

After being waived by the SaberCats, Calvin entered the business of buying storage lockers in 2008 and opened his store Grandmas Attic in 2009. He then joined Storage Wars in 2012 as a recurring character, and has been a main character since 2014 and is known as the "King of Palmdale".[4]

Personal life[edit]

Calvin has a wife, Wendy, along with two children, Ivy Calvin Jr. and Isaiah Calvin.[5]
