Maharagni- Queen of Queens is a 2024 Indian Hindi-language action thriller film starring Kajol in the title role, along with Prabhu Deva, Naseeruddin Shah, and Jisshu Sengupta. The film is directed by Telugu film director Charan Tej Uppalapatii who is making his Bollywood directorial debut.[2] The film also stars Samyuktha Menon, Aditya Seal, Pramod Pathak, and Chhaya Kadam. The film will also be released in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, and Malayalam. The action thriller film reunites Kajol and Prabhu Deva after nearly 3 decades, last seen together in Rajiv Menon’s Minsaara Kanavu that was released in Hindi as 'Sapnay'.[3] The film marks a comeback to acting for Prabhu Deva after several directorial ventures. The film's first schedule is complete and the official teaser was released on 28 May 2024. [4]
Plot[edit]
The film is a revenge drama about Maya (Kajol), a woman on a vengeful mission. [5] The film sees Kajol in a never-before-seen action avatar and has a tagline 'POWER MAANGE KE NAHI, CHEEN KE LEE JAATI HAI' meaning "Power is not demanded, it is taken away." [6] [7]
